[Error] Error connecting to the mailbox. There is a configuration, password or autodiscover service availability problem. Additional details follow: The Autodiscover service returned an error.
Typically when this error is generated it is because the single sign on (SSO) application isn't able to issue the account a token. Is there an SSO solution in place?
- Try installing the Office 365 Sensor with an account that is not dependent upon SSO.
- Or, to bypass SSO and Autodiscover functionality set the UPN value to be the email address. When this is done there isn’t a reliance on SSO or Autodiscover to resolve the account.
